dc.sage Home Page

dc.sage is an organization of, by and for computer systems administrators in the greater Washington D.C. metropolitan area. The organization has been in existence since LISA '94.

We have not had any technical meetings in a while. We still do have the occasional social gathering.

The most active part of dc.sage are the mailing lists:

• dc-sage-announce - Announcements of general interest to dc.sage members. Moderated. Very Low Bandwidth. [List Information]


• dc-sage - The technical mailing list. Any topics that are relevant to systems administrators and similar technical subjects are appropriate for this list. Unmoderated posting is limited to list members. [List Information]


• dc-sage-chat - The mailing list for "everything else." Jokes, rants, snide comments, postings for a roommate, etc. Generally, when a topic has been beaten to death on the dc-sage list, someone will mercifully redirect it to dc-sage-chat. Unmoderated posting is limited to list members. [List Information]
